The album consists of the super hit track ‘Why this Kolaveri Di?’ which became viral ever since it was released on Youtube. Ever since then the video has got over 20 million hits.

Sahara One Television Channel is came with new singing reality show Sur-Kshetra. Sur-Kshetra singing show will provide singing talents from India and Pakistan. Talents will have opportunity to display their vocal talents.

Sur-Kshetra singing show will start auditions from December 24, 2011 from India with 6 city auditions and from Pakistan with 3 city auditions. Himesh Reshmiya will be captain of india team of singers and Atif Aslam will be captain of pakistan team of singers. Sur-Kshetra singing show will be produced and directed by Gajendra Singh of Saaibaba Telefilms, who has done super-hit reality shows like Sa Re Ga Ma, Voice Of India, Music Ka Maha Muqaabala and Chote Ustaad.

If reports are to be believed, Bipasha Basu is demanding Rs 1 crore for the item dance number. "Bipasha Basu was offered 50 lakh, but she is asking for 1 crore.

The filmmakers are trying to negotiate the deal. As of now, nothing is concrete,” a source said.
